Gathering Together Suite

I had so much fun creating a card with the Gathering Together Suite Collection! This card features a fun fold design with layered details, giving it a warm and dimensional look. Here’s how you can make it step:
Card Details:
I started with a standard A2 card base:
- Cut cardstock (I used Cajun Craze)to 4 /14″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″
- Trim off 2 3/4″ from the front flap (save this piece – you’ll use it later).
Cutting Additional Pieces:
- Cardstock: (Basic White or other coordinating color) 4″ x 2 1/2″
- Inside layer: (Basic White) 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Designer Series Paper (DSP): 4″ x 2 /12″
Stamping & Die Cutting
- On the 4″ x 2 1/2″ cardstock (Basic White) either stamp directly using the stamp set OR stamp on scraps of Basic White and cut out images with the coordinating dies. (I chose die cuts).
- I stamped the sentiment from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set onto Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Then I fussy cut the sentiment.

Assemble the Card
- I adhered the DSP to the front flap with liquid glue.
- Stamp the sentiment on the inside layer with Early Espresso and adhere it inside the card.
- Attach the extra 2 3/4″ card base piece to the card front by gluing only the left-hand side of the 4″ x 2 1/2″ panel. (Hint: don’t glue the whole piece or your card won’t open!)
- Add your die-cut images to the Basic White piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.

Finishing Touches
- Embellish with Streaked Dots.
- Wrap and tie a bow with Early espresso Linen Thread for a rustic, finished look.
Envelope Love
- Complete the look with a matching envelope! I added a strip of the same DSP on the envelope flap.
